GreatNeckTools Supports Education with $10,000 Tool Donation

GreatNeckTools has demonstrated its commitment to workforce development by donating over $10,000 worth of professional-grade tools to Northeast State Community College in Blountville, TN.

The tools were presented at a  ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Community College’s  Technical Education Complex (TEC).

The company's significant contribution will provide students with industry-standard equipment, enabling hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for successful careers in automotive and manufacturing industries.

“Partnerships like this are important to us because we are local,” said Lois Crandell, Vice President of Operations at GreatNeckTools. “We have hired Northeast State graduates, and we currently have an employee attending the school. This year, we will be doubling our injection molding capacity and will be looking to hire more injection mold and machine operators, as well as assemblers,” Crandell said.

“This donation is a game-changer for our automotive and motorsports students,” said Nichole Manz-Young, Dean of Technologies at Northeast State. “Having access to high-quality tools ensures they are training with the same equipment they will be using in the workforce as professionals.”
